I’m Dalit Lymor, a writer, researcher, and illustrator based in Rotterdam. With a bachelor in illustration and a master’s degree in Jewish Studies from the University of Amsterdam, I work across both images and words. My work centres on Jewish history, identity, antisemitism, and public perceptions.
I write columns for the New Israelite weekly Nieuw Israëlietisch Weekblad and publish on Substack. I also create illustrations and give talks and workshops. I explore how historical ideas continue to shape the present, making complex subjects accessible while leaving room for context, questions, and debate.
I’m currently developing my master’s thesis, How Zionism Became Racism, into a book for a general readership. It examines how Zionism came to be equated with racism in political and public discourse, focusing on UN Resolution 3379, adopted in 1975, its historical origins, its revocation in 1991, and its lasting influence on debates about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
